The Electronic Cigarette
(E-Cig) is by far one of the greatest inventions in recent history.
Millions of people across the world are DYING from a perfectly legal product that’s
being sold at every street corner most commonly known as tobacco cigarettes. *6 million deaths are caused by smoking in
the United States every single year. (*source below)
As if you needed more proof,
this is another blatant reminder that your government does NOT have your best
interest at heart. They keep this
product perfectly legal directly alongside another well-known killer known as
alcohol. **This substance causes another
88,000 deaths per year in our great country, not to mention the many domestic violence
incidents and overall addictive qualities it contains. Another product that’s sold at every street
corner, most people can relate to the problems it causes in homes across the
country.
***Alcohol also leads to 1.5
million DUI’s in the U.S. per year. The
amount of money that is generated from these arrests is staggering. I, alone, paid at least a thousand dollars
for my first DUI to the ‘Feds’. This is
not including the money I lost from missing work and retaining a lawyer. If you do some simple math ($1,000 x 1.5
million = $1,500,000,000), you can see that the government is making out pretty
well on these arrests. Is this STOPPING
the drunk driving from happening? Not
one bit. ****The number of DUI’s in 2014
was 1.1 million, meaning the number has gone up by 400,000 in the last 2 years.
They keep this product legal
while they continue to fight to keep Marijuana illegal. (A known CURE to many of life’s problems, a
known alternative (Hemp) to our reliance on plastic (which pollutes the planet
like no other) and an overall ‘peaceful’ narcotic with the opposite of violence
as a side effect.) This illegal product has
led to ZERO known deaths, unlike alcohol and cigarettes, which have led to
COUNTLESS deaths and injury.
PROOF, they
don’t have your best interest at heart like they advertise to.
Here’s the topper; The
GOVERNMENT, with your ‘best interest at heart’, is involved in a fight with the
makers and sellers of electronic cigarettes (The life-SAVING product) that
involves the Feds imposing a FORTY PERCENT tax increase on Electronic
Cigarettes. This is an obvious attempt
to put the stores out of business in order to keep the world smoking.
I started using the
electronic cigarette about 2 years ago.
I could literally feel the difference in my overall health within 3
days. (Mostly my breathing. Which, ya’
know, kind of important, don’t ya’ think?)
These days, I use the vape pen throughout the week. There is no smell attached to the smoke and
it can be used inside the house with no lingering leftover stench involved.
I can smoke whenever and wherever
I want, while a typical cigarette smoker usually has to plan out their smoke
break around certain obstacles. One of
my personal favorite benefits of the e-cig is being able to take a quick puff
here and there as opposed to feeling the need to finish an entire cigarette
every time you light one.
I am an advocate of this
product and receive no benefit from an increase in its sales. I am a fan of your health and
well-being. I’d love you to STOP
SMOKING.
Lung cancer is known as one of
THEE most difficult, disgusting and horrible ways to die. Do it for your kids. Do it for your family. Do it for the guy next to you that hates the
way you smell. Do it for you wife (she
probably hates kissing you but doesn’t have the heart to tell you.) Do it because you probably started smoking at
a young age and were never told of the negative side effects. In other words, you were LIED to.
One piece of advice if you
are going to try vaping as opposed to smoking:
It may take you a couple dollars and a few trips to the store to find
the right e-cig for you. Most people,
when they first buy a vape pen, don’t want to spend a ton of money. So, they buy a cheap version just to see what
it’s like. Well, these cheap knockoffs
turn them completely off from the idea itself.
It’s usually not until the second time the smoker buys a pen that they
find the right one. There are many
different options and flavors.
Don’t fear change! Don’t die from lung cancer because you went
around saying to everyone, “Those ‘vape dudes’ look like douchebags!” The employees of a typical vape shop are
usually VERY helpful and will be VERY happy to help you find the correct
module. (You usually receive a discount
if you turn in your ‘last pack’ of cigarettes.)
Lastly, I can guarantee you
all that there are many more addictive ingredients inside of a typical tobacco
cigarette. I get nicotine when I use my
vape, plenty of it. But, there are STILL
some lingering addictive side effects that cause me to feign and urge towards a
Marlboro Light. I LOVE smoking cigarettes. If you decide to quit and move on to the
electric version, trust me when I tell you that you can still go back and buy a
pack of smokes here and there on the weekends.
Do yourself a favor and
watch the movie, “Thank you for Smoking”.
The writer is a friend of a friend and the film does a great job in
showing the dark side of the Liquor Control Board (LCB) and the Alcohol,
Tobacco and Firearms organization (ATF).
The main character of the movie is the spokesperson for the ATF whose
job is to basically talk out of his ass and get people to believe that what they
are doing is perfectly okay.
Here is a link to the
trailer. The movie is very well made and
worth the watch.
Please stop blindly
following along with this group of nobodies known as your government. Most of the members of the senate and
congress were voted in because people did NOT research their options or simply
did not HAVE any viable options. All
that talk about who to vote for in the presidential race, did anyone even care
to research who they were voting for when it came to the OTHER available open
political seats?
